Year 5

Miss Kaye's Literacy group have been campaigning to get people and companies to use canvas bags instead of plastic bags.  Check out their adverts and bags here!

Miss Barnard's Literacy group have organised a campaign to persuade children aged between 11 and 13 not to start smoking.  We have designed posters and leaflets and we have also designed PowerPoint presentations - check them out here!  Thanks to quitbecause.org.uk for allowing us to use images from their website.

 

Year 5 have been making Moving Toys, using Cam mechanisms.

 

Year 5 have been studying Sound in Science. They used their knowledge of how sounds are made to make a Musical Instrument.  They had to be able to change the pitch, having at least 2 different notes.
