Charity Abseil for Elizabeth Finn Care
On Sunday 11th May 2008 members of staff, past and present, abseiled from a bridge in Miller's Dale, Derbyshire.
The abseilers were Mrs Rock, Mr Samuels, Mr McManus, Miss Barnard, Mr Grimmett and Mr Tague.
We were joined by Mrs Rock's family and friends, as well as Mrs Favell, official photographer.
It was all in aid of Elizabeth Finn Care, a charity dedicated to helping Brithish and Irish people in poverty.
If you would like to find out more about them, please visit their website.

Mr McManus had never abseiled before. He decided to go first to get it over with!
Miss Barnard watches on, looking a little nervous! He makes it to the bottom!

Next to go was Mr Grimmett - He made it look easy!

Time for the expert to have a go! Mrs Rock shows us how the professionals do it.

I was up next, it took me a few minutes to let go of the railing, but I did it!

Mr Samuels descended quickly, and looked happy to be back on the ground again!

Mr Tague goes for a slightly unusual approach!

Congratulations to the whole team!!
